Pray for America

Our nation's in shock, enveloped by fear,

Continually wondering if the enemy's near.

People stand in line for several hours on end,

Searching for clues of a family member or friend.

The stories we've heard have touched every heart,

The stories of families now torn apart.

We want to be able to help in some way,

The best thing we can do is kneel, and pray.

Pray for the victims, their families, and friends.

Its amazing how much healing a single prayer lends.

Pray for our leaders, our nation, our land.

Pray God will hold us safe in His hand.

This nation was founded and built on prayer,

And it seems the best way to show that we care.

So be sure to stand steadfast, be sure to be true;

And pray for America whatever you do.
